Recheck (recheck.co) offers the first industry-wide registry of residential solar salespeople and installers. They provide a universal ID number for individual sales reps, which is used by financiers and installers to verify compliant status of high-quality sales reps. Palmetto LightReach is a founding partner of Recheck.

Once completed, the sales rep is saved and verified automatically for future sales.
The initial signup process takes only a few minutes, and involves ID verification and facial recognition. The initial login via LightReach takes a matter of seconds.
Getting Verified
Sales reps can sign up at recheck.co/signup. Recheck immediately provides a universal ID, which can be used across logins with participating platforms. The initial signup process takes only a few minutes, and is most easily done via mobile phone.
Logging In w/ LightReach
Sales reps login w/ LightReach at point of sale (trigger = customer contract sent). The sales rep is sent an email prompt to login to their Recheck account. Once done, the sales rep is permanently linked to LightReach, and does not have to complete the step for future sales.

Palmetto LightReach and other Recheck partners report compliance offenders or fraudulent rep activity directly to LightReach. These include situations of significant or repeated fraud, misrepresentation, or other serious consumer compliance issues.
LightReach maintains our own list of blacklisted representatives who will not be permitted to join the platform. We will equally honor the blacklists of Recheck partner organizations.

1 | I have sales rep logins with multiple installers. Do I need to sign into recheck for each? | Yes, while Recheck ID numbers are universal, they are tied to individual sales rep accounts/logins.
This means that if you sell actively with 3 organizations, you will need to complete the prompt at point of sale for all 3. |
2 | How does one end up on a blacklist? | At LightReach, we try to take a balanced approach to compliance. We understand honest mishaps happen in the field.
For an individual to be blacklisted with LightReach, generally indicates significant/serious malpractice. |
3 | I haven't completed my sign up. Can I sell a deal? | No. Recheck is an NTP requirement for all new sales from our 1/13/25 launch. |
